Here is a short list of things one can do to minimize the appearance of pimples on your skin:
Exercise. Even if you are pregnant you should still exercise –pregnancy is not an excuse to just be sitting around all the time. Exercising daily will help stimulate blood circulation –improving your general health, your babies health and of course your skin.
Fruits and Vegetables. We have mentioned this a lot of times and it works for general skin care even if you are not pregnant. Eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits.
Water. Drink lots of water. About 6 to 8 glasses daily will keep you hydrated and will also improve your metabolism. Although there is no direct impact of water on the skin when water is taken in, one must remember that the healthier you are in the inside, the healthier you will look.
Do not wash your face frequently. This will only stimulate your sebaceous glands so the less oil on your face, the lesser is the possibility of having acne flare ups. Washing your face 2 to 3 times daily with a mild cleanser will do you some good. Using lukewarm water to wash the skin is also a good idea.
