One of the best anti- aging make up tips I recently learned was to use cream blush instead of powder, and also to avoid any metallic colors. The powder blush is drying and can emphasize the lines around the eyes, but a cream blush adds moisture and plumps up those lines. Metallic colors in cream or powder will also emphasize lines and should be avoided. Sometimes if I'm in a fix, I use a pink colored lipstick and it works just as well. The color choice is important, avoid the temptation to deepen the color of blush to look younger. Instead of using bright pigments, a rosy cream blush usually has the most youthful effect. I like Lancôme Color Design Blush, which comes in a variety of shades, also Nars and Tarte make great cream blush.
