Skin cleansing is something we all must do to keep our skin
healthy and of course, clean. Although taking a bath or a shower are the
obvious methods in cleaning the skin, there are also other regimens that dermatologists
suggest. This includes cleaning it by detoxifying or cleaning it by
exfoliating. Detox however does not show results in just a few minutes while
exfoliating by using facial scrubs is not usually that effective. So what
should one do?
There’s a new skin cleansing gadget that was released in
London last month. It is called Clarisonic. This gadget uses sonic sound to get
rid of dirt and skin debris without hurting the dermins. This of course means
that when one uses it, one will have softer, younger-looking skin.
Initially, this was marketed as a home product in the USA
and was proven to be quite effective in facial cleansing.
Clarisonic is a brush that does a micro-massage action on
the skin, cleaning it along the way. In 2009, top spas in the UK started
selling the device which then caused around $200.
Dermatologists say, using this product will enhance one’s
skin and will make it look younger. The micro-massage action of Clarisonic
makes it possible for the skin to absorb more vitamin c –a vital nutrient for
skin health. This also means that right after cleansing with Clarisonic, you
will reap the benefits of your moisturizers and serums more than you did before
since the skin will absorb the nutrients on these topical solutions faster and
easier.
There are however other gadgets made for cleaning the skin
while some give the face a natural facelift. One product from Nu Skin for
example makes it possible for older women and men to shed 10 years off their faces.
The product is sold as a home use gadget and massages the skin to improve
circulation.
